Welcome! I am Rahaf, a registered social worker practicing psychotherapy in Ontario. It’s not easy to reach out for support, and the fact that you are here means you are already moving toward the life you deserve.
As someone who was born in Syria, raised in Nigeria, and later immigrated to Canada, I truly understand what it’s like to navigate questions of identity, belonging, and cultural adjustment. These lived experiences allow me to connect deeply with clients from diverse backgrounds and to appreciate the unique journeys that shape who we are.
I pride myself on being a compassionate and attentive listener, someone who genuinely hears your concerns and creates a safe space where you feel seen, respected, and supported. I tailor my approach to meet each client’s comfort level, personality, and goals, ensuring that therapy feels collaborative and personalized to your needs. Together, we will honour your lived experiences while developing strategies to help you move forward with confidence and clarity.
I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults, and I am committed to fostering a warm, accepting, and culturally sensitive space. In our sessions, we’ll not only address the challenges you’re facing, but also focus on building skills, celebrating progress, and strengthening your capacity for healing and growth. My goal is to help you feel empowered in your journey of self-discovery and transformation.
Fun Facts: Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, listening to podcasts and music, reading, and exploring the practice of Minimalism.
If you are looking for a therapist who will truly listen, respect your story, and support you in creating meaningful change, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey.
