Welcome! I am Merryl, a registered social worker practicing psychotherapy in Ontario. Reaching out for support takes courage, and I want to acknowledge the bravery it takes to seek help.

Your trust and vulnerability are deeply respected here, and my goal is to provide a safe space where you can express yourself, grow, and heal.

I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and it's an honour to join you on your journey toward addressing challenges and finding solutions. The relationship between client and therapist is where powerful transformations can happen, and I'm committed to fostering a collaborative partnership that promotes growth and perspective.

In my practice, I take an inclusive approach, considering the intersectionality of your experiences and utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to your needs. My clinical experience spans from inpatient mental health units to child welfare, working primarily with adolescents and adults. I approach our sessions with empathy, warmth, and genuine care, aiming to create a supportive environment where you can explore and heal. I'm excited about the opportunity to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.
