Maybe you have been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from yourself, or unsure of what needs to change. You may be used to keeping things inside, showing up for everyone else, or telling yourself that what you are going through is “not bad enough” to need support. Therapy can be a place where you do not have to pretend that everything is okay.
I’m Maham, a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) providing psychotherapy to adolescents, young adults, and adults across Ontario.
When we meet, my priority is to get to know you as a person, not simply to focus on symptoms or a diagnosis. You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. We can start wherever you are.
I aim to create a warm, culturally responsive, and non-judgmental space where conversations feel natural and you feel comfortable being yourself. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs, values, culture, relationships, and lived experiences.
Together, we can explore your emotions, understand recurring patterns, strengthen your relationships, build confidence, set boundaries, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been quietened by shame, guilt, or self-doubt.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, and making time for the things that help me feel grounded and present.
You deserve to feel heard, respected, and understood. I would be honoured to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself and discover your inner voice.
