Starting couples therapy takes courage. Our work together creates a safe space to understand how family history, culture, and past experiences shape your relationship patterns, and to build an emotionally safe home that doesn’t repeat old intergenerational cycles
I’m Dr. Natasha Ramzan, a licensed Clinical Psychologist in Ontario, Canada and the United Kingdom, offering couples therapy, two-day couples intensives, and adult psychological and ADHD assessments.

My work with couples is informed by both clinical training and lived experience. Growing up within an immigrant family system shaped my understanding of how cultural expectations, family roles, and intergenerational patterns, such as emotional over-responsibility, silence, or walking on eggshells, can influence adult relationships.

In Couples Therapy and a two-day Couples Intensive Therapy, we slow down reactive cycles, strengthen emotional responsiveness, and help partners relate to one another in ways that create stability and emotional safety at home. The focus is not only on the relationship itself, but also on creating a home environment where children, present or future, are not drawn into adult conflict or emotional roles they should never have to carry.

Couples Intensives offer a focused, immersive format for couples who want meaningful progress without long gaps between sessions.

I also offer adult ADHD assessments, an area of practice that is both professionally and personally meaningful to me. As someone with lived experience of ADHD, I understand how symptoms such as inattention, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, and burnout can be misunderstood or overlooked, particularly among high-achieving adults and individuals from BIPOC communities. My assessment approach is thorough, and strengths-based, with careful attention to differential diagnosis, cultural context, and practical recommendations.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with family and friends,  hiking in the fall, and unwinding with Netflix. Travelling is my favourite form of self-care.

"Natasha is a fantastic listener who truly cares about her clients. She creates a safe and non-judgmental space for you to share your thoughts and feelings, and she's always willing to go above and beyond to help you achieve your goals."
"Our relationship has transformed significantly, especially in our ability to communicate, resolve conflict and regulate our emotions. Natasha's ability to connect with us and create a safe space for both of us has encouraged us to be more vulnerable and express ourselves freely. Her use of dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) has enabled us to manage our conflict. Since seeing her, we are a much stronger couple."
"Working with Natasha has been a life changing experience. Her empathetic, non-judgmental approach creates a safe space for sharing. She helped me to develop skills to work through life’s challenges and unlearn patterns that were holding me back. I would not be where I am today without her support."
