Do you feel caught in familiar patterns, overwhelmed by your emotions, or torn between who you are and who others expect you to be?
I offer a compassionate space to explore what you are experiencing and reconnect with your inner voice.
I was born in Egypt, spent part of my childhood in Kuwait, and later immigrated to Canada. Growing up across cultures taught me that you can love your family and where you come from while still wondering who you are allowed to be. I know how difficult it can feel to make room for your own needs when guilt, loyalty, and expectations are part of the picture.
I have always been curious about what lies beneath people’s words and actions. As a child, I was often the peacemaker, trying to understand each person’s perspective. That curiosity led me to psychotherapy, where I now work with adolescents ages 12 and up, adults, couples, and families.
You might come to therapy feeling disconnected from yourself, stuck in familiar patterns, or caught in the same painful conversations with your partner. Together, we can slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and find a way forward that feels true to you. My hope is that you feel heard without having to leave any part of yourself or your story at the door.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a twin, a craft enthusiast, and a lifelong learner. I enjoy art, reading, tennis, concerts, and time with friends. I value curiosity, meaningful connections, and finding joy in the little things
